Underwater Sculpture – Jason deCaires Taylor

 

About a month ago, I was flipping through a magazine, and one photo caught my attention. It was such a fascinating photo and I read the article through immediately. I’d like to share this fascinating images with you.

It’s underwater sculpture and the artist name is Jason deCaires Taylor. His famous piece is ‘The Silent Evolution’ which is located in Cancun, Mexico with 400 life-size figures, 9m underwater . Here is the bio from his website.

Jason deCaires Taylor is an internationally acclaimed eco-sculptor who creates underwater living sculptures, offering viewers mysterious, ephemeral encounters and fleeting glimmers of another world where art develops from the effects of nature on the efforts of man. His site-specific, permanent installations are designed to act as artificial reefs, attracting corals, increasing marine biomass and aggregating fish species, while crucially diverting tourists away from fragile natural reefs and thus providing space for natural rejuvenation. A couple of days ago, I found this private sale site, MyHabit.com.

D&G sales ends today and I have been checking this dress for almost 3 days daily. What do you think? I can’t resist beautifully -made silk dresses. Can’t believe before price is 2,280 and now it’s 821. I can’t give you the direct product link because it may go away after 72 hours.

Amazon launched this website and provides free shipping within U.S and flat $25 for International shipping to over 50 countries. I checked out the website and well-known designer brands and luxury brands (Roberto Cavalli, Tori Burch, D&G, Philosophy, etc.) are on the upcoming sales list. It has Women, Men, Children, and Home departments.

This is what I found from ‘Home’. Although I’m not so knowledgeable about cooking brands, I know ‘Fissler’ as my sisters love it and told me to buy ‘Fissler’ pots when I get married. Is this price good? But,unfortunately, these are not applicable for international shipping. :(

 

What I like about:

I found it so cool that you can see the model turning around to show the clothes you clicked. It’s a new experience in online shopping for me! :) Lastly, it’s quite fun to check out this site occasionally to see if there’s any good upcoming deals!

A bridal gown does not complete its look without a bridal veil. So far, I have not tried any veils yet in my life, so I have no idea which style would look good on me. Since I’m not so tall, I always thought that a medium-length or short length might look good on me, and I have thought I would choose for medium-length for my future veil.

Style – ‘Endless’ Online Shop for Free International shipping

Endless – Bags, Shoes, Accessories!  Free International Shipping above $100

Recently, I found this online shopping mall, Endless.com, for shoes, bags, and accessories. What I really like about this is free international shipping to all orders above $100. Of course, I need to pay for tariffs/customs if applicable, but I found it so cool. Orders below $100, shipping fee is $10 flat and it uses Priority Shipping which usually takes 2-4 business days.

Moreover, this shopping mall has pretty much major brands (I’m talking mostly about bags, not shoes), excluding really high-end brands. Brands that it carries include Kate Spade, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, BCBG, Furla, Stuart Weiztman, See by Cloe, Juicy Couture, and many more. It seems that most of its products are eligible for international shipping, but I found many of Juicy Couture bags were not allowed to ship overseas.

This shop features lots of shoes brand, but I don’t buy shoes online, so didn’t go through shoes brands.

As a couple of my favorite clutches are given up on me recently, I was browsing clutches in this shop and I found several clutches that I want. This is going to be my wishlist for this Valentine’s Day for my boyfriend’s reference.. ;)

Style – Sex and the City Carrie Dress Season 2 Ep.12

I love ‘Sex and the City’. Period. When I was studying in D.C, I went to Manhattan many times and I took ‘Sex and the City’ tour in NYC and visited all those sites and streets that Sex and the City was shot.

Recently, I started to watch SATC all seasons again, and I found after all these years, Carrie is still stylish. So, I thought I’d write posts about dresses/ styles that I liked in Sex and the City. Carrie used to be my first style icon. She’s not so tall like Samantha and her body is thin and I really liked Carrie’s style in SATC. Many of her dresses and styles inspired me!

Here comes one dress I liked in Season 2 Ep. 12 “la douleur exquise!”.

In this episode, Big told Carrie that he may be moving to Paris and Carrie was angry that she was not at all part of his consideration. At the end of this episode, Big and Carrie broke up.

Here is Carrie’s dress that I like in this episode. It’s a simple and great for everyday dress.

Round neckline gives a feminine touch and a graphic and colorful skirt gives a contrast to plain black top part.

What a great color choice!  Lilac color for her clutch.
